Conny Learns To Live Together

My cats did not grow up together. I can still see that Conny is having some difficulty fitting in with Sydney. Otherwise, it doesn’t seem to matter to Sydney.
Before we adopted Sydney, Conny was a spoiled cat and a bright beauty. Sometimes I think that she thought of herself to be just as human as us.
She was a very playful and mischievous cat most of the time. She always motivated me to play with her and she would show up her expression of love by biting. Both me and my husband had a lot of scratch marks on our bodies. It hurt, but that’s okay.
After Sydney was adopted, Conny’s behavior had totally changed. For example, she would not play with her favorite toys and made herself isolated from us. She rejected food if Sydney touched it, she would only eat her favorite treat. She rejected sharing the litter box. I never expected that to happen and it was a struggle for me too. Because every time that me and my husband did something for Sydney, it made Conny upset. It was a difficult time for all except Sydney. Actually, it didn’t seem to matter to him. He just plays, eats, and sleeps. I guess, Sydney was also trying to fit in with our family, but he was a little cold. Maybe, he didn’t trust us and wasn’t sure how long he would be staying with us.
But, now they are a cheeky couple. Conny seems to admit to the fact that Sydney was also a part of the family, and she was reminded by seeing Sydney that she was really a cat. They share everything, but only one thing. Conny still finds it difficult to sleep with Sydney in the same spot. She still manages to live with Sydney.
